Xbox Game Studios have announced the Lords of the West DLC for classic RTS city builder Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.
Noted as the first official expansion for the Definitive Edition, the DLC brings two new civilizations. The Burgundians have access to their Coustillier cavalry unit, Burgundian Vineyards, and the Flemish Revolution to turn villagers into Flemish Militia. Meanwhile, the Sicilians have the First Crusade and Scutage technologies, as well as the Serjeant infantry unit who can also build Donjons.
The DLC also contains three fully-voiced campaigns; Edward Longshanks for the Britons, The Grand Dukes of the West for the Burgundians, and The Hautevilles the for Sicilians. The DLC will also come with new achievements.
The Lords of the West DLC launches January 26th, 2021 for $9.99 USD, and is available to pre-order now.
